Accessibility at the PCC
We are a Sage Certified Event Venue!
The Pennsylvania Convention Center is dedicated to providing all of our guests with a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience.
In April 2025, the Center was the first convention center in the United States to become Sage Certified.
Sage Inclusion offers accessibility certification and training for organizations as part of its mission of promoting accessible and inclusive travel to global destinations. As part of the certification process, Sage Inclusion conducted an assessment and on-site inspection of the facility to evaluate the Center’s compliance with national and international accessibility standards including:
- Sage Best Practices
- Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards
- ISO 21542-2021 (Building construction – Accessibility and usability of the built environment)
- ISO 21902-2021 (Tourism and related services – Accessible Tourism for all – Requirements and recommendations).
The certification is valid for a period of three years and affirms that the facility meets accessibility standards for individuals with mobility, visual, hearing, cognitive, and allergy-related disabilities.

Accessible Restrooms
All public restroom facilities at the Pennsylvania Convention Center are accessible for our guests and compliant with ADA standards.
Elevators
All elevators provide our guests with special needs access to each level of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Service Animals
- Trained and certified guide dogs or service animals for guests with disabilities are permitted.
- Designated service animal relief stations are located in the facility.
Scooter Rental
Scootaround offers scooter rentals on a first-come, first-served basis at our UPS Store inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
